YOU ARE INEXCUSABLE “Thou art
inexcusable,” God says to you. As the Apostle Paul writes in his Epistle
to the Romans 2:1-3, “Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever
thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest
thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that
the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such
things. And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such
things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?” He who commits a
sin, when standing before God cannot give an excuse for committing that sin.
As a result God will send him to hell. “For as many as have sinned without
law shall also perish without law,” Romans 2:12. Even if you failed to
know God’s commandments, and you broke one of them you will still perish. So
they “without law shall also perish without law.” And he who knew the
commandments and broke only one of them shall be judged by them. “And as
many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law,” God says in
James 2: 10, “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in
one point, he is guilty of all.” If you break only one of them you will
be guilty of all. As a result, you
will start giving excuses before God saying, “O God I did not know!” But God
will tell you, “Thou art inexcusable, O man” You might even tell Him
that you are weak and Satan tempted you. But He will still tell you, “Thou
art inexcusable, O man.” You might also say, “I will do well from now on.
So, please, God, forgive me this sin.” He will still tell you, “Thou art
inexcusable, O man”. Since you have kept all the commandments and
broke just one of them, you have become guilty of all. You might say, “O
Lord, you are unjust.” His response will be, “I am just and holy. My holiness
requires Me that I should not accept sin in any form.” He also says, “For
the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus
Christ our Lord.” Romans 6: 23. You will cry to the Lord and say, “O
Lord, I am better than my neighbor. He is a notorious sinner but I am not.”
God will say to you, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not
one….They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable;
there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Romans 3:10, 12. If you trust in
your good deeds to get to heaven, you are lost indeed. Because God says in
Romans 3:20, “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be
justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” You
might cry to God and say, “O God, You are merciful. Please forgive my sins
and accept me in heaven. His response will be, “Yes, I am a merciful and
forgiving God. But I am Holy and Just, and punish sin severely.
Therefore, I will not allow sinners into heaven.” You will then cry, as in
Acts 16:30, “What must I do to be saved?” God will tell you, “Believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved...” Acts 16:31. God knows that, “For
all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23. All
people deserve hell based upon their works. The holy, just, merciful and
forgiving God wants to save all mankind, and He diligently searched for
someone among the people, prophets and apostles and found no righteous man,
not even one. As a result, God was incarnated in a human form and made
redemption for Man. As the Bible says in Isaiah 59:16, “And he saw that
there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his
arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.”
“For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be
made the righteousness of God in him,” 2 Corinthians 5: 21. Jesus Christ, God
incarnate, knew no sin, kept the Law (commandments) and broke none of them.
More than once he challenged the people and the Scribes by saying, “Which
of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe
me?” John 8:46. No man was able to testify that Christ committed one sin.
“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have
not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.” Hebrews
4: 14-15. The Bible has
recorded at least one sin for each and every prophet and apostle. But Jesus
committed not even one sin. Therefore, He Himself made our redemption and
died on the cross and shed His blood for the remission of our sins. “For he
hath made him (the Lord Jesus, God in flesh) to be sin for us, who knew no
sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” II Cor. 5:21.
This means that we receive righteousness through faith in Christ. “But now
the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by
the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of
Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified
freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God
hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare
his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the
forbearance of God,” Romans 3:21-25. If you desire to go
to heaven, you should become righteous, just as if you never committed sin.
The Lord Jesus Christ died on the cross to redeem you, to forgive your sins
and to rescue you from Hell. Abraham offered a lamb for his son. This was a
symbol of the Lord Jesus Christ as the redeeming lamb for the sake of
humanity. John the Baptist, following the baptism of the Lord Jesus, saw the
Holy Spirit descending on Him in a form of a dove. Concerning the Lord Jesus
Christ, he said, “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and
saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world”
John 1:29. John the Baptist is considered the greatest prophet as the Lord
Jesus referred to him in Matthew 11: 11, “Verily I say unto you, Among
them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the
Baptist” John referred to Jesus in John 1:29, “Behold the Lamb of God,
which taketh away the sin of the world” Therefore, the Lord Jesus is the
redeeming lamb for the whole world. He said, “Come unto me, all ye that
labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest,” Matthew 11: 28. The Lord Jesus is
able to take away the curse of our sins. He is the One who carried our
iniquities upon Himself through His death on the cross for the remission of
our sins. All who believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
He is the one who said in John 11:25-26, “Jesus said unto her, I am the
resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet
shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.
Believest thou this?” Come to Jesus
Christ and believe in Him so that you will not perish, but have instead
everlasting life. You are therefore, with no excuse if you go on sinning and
continue rejecting to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ who descended from His
heavenly throne for His love for you; who came to our world to redeem you and
forgive your sins, in particular, on the cross so that you may not perish.
You are with no excuse if you reject the holy, merciful and forgiving God who
loved you and redeemed you and died for you. Dear reader, do not
reject His forgiveness, love, mercy. He shed his blood on the cross to save
you from the clutches of Satan. Come to Him before it is too late and believe
in Him in your heart and confess in Him with your mouth. Then pray this
prayer: “O Lord, have
mercy on me, a sinner. Wash me with your blood that you shed on the cross.
Come dwell in my heart and grant me eternal life. I ask this in the Name of
the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.” If you have
received salvation through the blood of Christ and He has forgiven you your
sins and received eternal life, please, write to us: Name:________________________________________Age________ Address__________________________________________________ I prayed and the

Atoms from Creation to
Disintegration |
|
|
The question Man might ask in our present advanced age,
known as the Atom age: What is an atom? One Greek philosopher could
answer the above question. He would say, “An atom is the smallest particle or
portion of a mass one could get.” To this description other philosophers might
add, “this particle can’t be divided into other smaller parts.” The Greek
philosophers believed that an atom is indivisible. But this belief has been
proven wrong in our present age by Einstein. He proved that an atom can be
disintegrated based on a known and tested theory. You might ask me, “How
could I know that what you are saying is true since I am not very well
educated?” On the bases of this theory, the atomic bomb was made. Who does
not know about the atom bomb? Is there any man on earth with reading, hearing
and seeing abilities who can possibly not know about the atomic bomb? As it is known, the atomic bomb is built on the fact that
atoms can be divided, and that part of the major mass that formulates the
atom can be disintegrated. Following is the rule regarding this theory: Energy = mass x speed of light x speed of light (E = m x c
x c) According to the above equation, it is possible for energy
to be transformed into mass and vice versa. Man, on his part, was able to
transform mass into energy. In other words, man succeeded to split the atom
and get that part in which energy was stored. From where did this energy
come? Who put it in the mass? Let us answer the first question: “Where did this energy
come from?” since mass can only be disintegrated on the basis of Einstein’s
theory which says, “The disintegrated mass is transformed into energy.” Based
on this same theory, no mass can exist apart from energy. Therefore, we all
know that our universe is full of this mass. If we say that mass has been in
existence since infinity, this could not be possible. As a matter of fact,
the sun alone loses from its mass 4.2 million tons per second. This means
that about 4.2 million tons of mass disintegrates every second and is
transformed into energy. These rays, when reaching the earth, are stored in
the plants in the form of complex compounds. In this essay we will only
mention that the plants store these rays in the hydrocarbon complex like wood
and sugar etc. If the sun has truly existed since infinity then we should
find out how much mass it has lost during this infinite span of time. We already know that any number multiplied with an
infinite number of years will become infinite. To say the universe has no
beginning makes the mass infinite, and that is impossible. So there must be a
beginning point for the universe. Anyone who says that there is no beginning
for the universe is surely illiterate and knows nothing about atomic age
science. As a result, you should not even listen to them whoever they may be.
Just consider them as educated but illiterate, living in the 20th
century. Now let us go back to our former question now that we have
come to the main conclusion that the universe has a starting point. Let us
ask, “Who has founded this universe?” If we reiterate what the illiterate has
to say about the creation of the universe, that the universe was created by
itself, then even the lunatic would have reason to laugh at us. Just think,
how can something that does not exist bring into existence the sporadic mass
that fills this vast universe? If one of the adolescent philosophers come and
say to us that the stars, the sun, and the moon were created by some sort of
a small amount of gas that began to expand and multiply, then the
Thermodynamics’ theory and those of Einstein and others would have laughed.
Actually, we have no time to look into these different theories. We will only
say: Gas is governed by a proven theory which is
P1*V1/T1=P2*V2/T2. In another words when the volume increases the pressure decreases.
We can say the mass of the gas will remain the same. All those who dare
to claim that when gas expands it multiplies, implying that mass was created,
contradict the theory E=m*c*c. Lastly, science has introduced another theory that cannot
be proved. It claims that the universe was created as a result of an
explosion they call The Big Bang theory. It was not proved from where this
thing that exploded came. Here we see how science contradicts itself. The
former theory contradicts another one that is: “Energy = mass X light speed
square.” If the Bang Theory is correct then the Energy theory is
wrong. But since the latest theory has not been proven then the Bang theory
is wrong. At this point, we will refrain to list down the different
theories by the philosophers for they have become a mockery in the face of
Modern Science. Therefore, we should be aware that the mass of the atoms
cannot exist without energy. Now the question is: “How did this great and
immense energy come from?” Could this be a philosopher’s or genius’s energy?
If it is so, then why shouldn’t he transform it into a very costly material
to meet his financial needs? But if we say it is an angel’s energy? Who is
this Angel? Here we have assumed that the energy is either from a
human or from an angel. Undoubtedly, there should be someone who activates
this energy. Then, if we cannot assume the existence of an angel because we
need first to determine who created him, in like manner, we cannot assume the
existence of a human being because we should also need to know who created
him. All the above problems and dilemmas were solved by God. He
said, “In the beginning God created the heavens and earth.” God did not need
to prove that He exists because there is no doubt about it. He rather wants
to make known to us what He made or created. He does not need to convince us
about what He made because He knows that He Himself made the “heavens and the
earth” The word ‘create’ means “bring into being”. If we claim the existence
of God, who owns the stores of the infinite power, wisdom and knowledge, then
we have no problem believing that God transformed part of this infinite
energy into mass when He created the heavens and the earth. God is not
limited by the laws of nature. But it is in His power to lay down laws for
nature to follow, and to control it accordingly. Based on the above, God has
the power to transform energy into mass according to a theory Einstein
discovered. God used Einstein’s theory since the creation of the universe.
What Einstein did was to discover its existence. But he wasn’t the first to
discover this theory. You might ask, “Who then has discovered the
disintegration of the atom into energy and fire? The first one to record the disintegration of the atom
into energy was the Apostle Peter. This was recorded in the Bible by the
Apostle Peter around 66 A.D., 1850 years before Einstein discovered the
theory. 2 Peter 3:10, 12 says, “But the day of the Lord will
come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a
great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also
and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Looking for and hasting
unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be
dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? In the Greek language the word ‘melt’ means “dissolving of
atoms”. For your information, the Apostle Peter lived at a time when people
did not believe that atoms could be divided into protons, neutrons and
electrons. Everybody used to believe in the indivisibility of the atom,
whereas, the Apostle Peter, who was neither taught by philosophers or
doctors, seemed to know far more than the scientists and philosophers
altogether. Peter was taught by God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy
Spirit. As a result, he discerned what wasn’t apprehended by any mortal at
that time, but by God alone. He comprehended that atoms (elements)
disintegrate into energy, that is, melt with fervent heat. He said, “wherein
the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt
with fervent heat?” Needles to mention, the Apostle Peter was neither a
scientist nor a philosopher. He was rather a mere fisherman with limited
scientific knowledge. And since God owns the stores of knowledge, He could
impart a portion of it to anyone He wishes. Accordingly, a portion of this
divine wisdom was granted to the apostles and disciples who believed in Jesus
Christ. Until now, God is still lavishing this divine wisdom upon man. One of
God’s promises in the last days is to increase knowledge to mankind. He has
indeed carried out His promise. Today, as we know, man cannot read all that God has
recorded. As a matter of fact, if someone wants to read all what was said by
one preacher, like Spurgeon, it will take him about three years of incessant
day and night reading. Thousands of writers have written millions of books on all
subjects in about every language. One might even get lost in reading these
subjects and topics. But the most important subject is about God’s wisdom in
Creation and in the disintegration of mass. God first created the heavens and
earth. Then He created Adam and Eve and placed them in Paradise. Adam sinned
and as a result God expelled Adam and Eve from the garden of Eden. Do you think that God is ignorant in not knowing that
Satan would cause Adam to fall into sin? Not at all! The Omnipotent God knew
even before the creation of the heavens, the earth, angels and man, that
Satan would test Adam and cause him to fall into sin. For this reason, God
prepared redemption even before the creation of the world, the angels and
man. In fact, God did not create devils. But He rather created angels who
rebelled against Him through the leadership of Lucifer, the devil. These
fallen angels have become the devils, evil spirits, and fiends. These are
different names for one thing, the devil. Following are a number of verses from 1Peter 1:18-20: “Forasmuch
as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and
gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and
without spot.” These verses assure that God prepared for man the
sacrificial death of Christ on the cross even before the foundation of the
world. He, therefore, prepared the way of salvation for man prior to his
falling into sin. Accordingly, no one can stand before God and accuse Him by
saying: “O God! You are not just.” This is because the remission of sins was
prepared by God before the creation of man. For the same reason, man cannot
stand before God and accuse Him, “O God! You are not merciful.” For God has
sent His only begotten Son to die on the cross to have mercy on all those who
believe in Him. For the Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.” This means that God
prepared salvation for man even before He created the sun or the moon, the
planets or the stars, and even before angels and the angels that fell. He
prepared salvation before there was any man or animals or plants on earth.
Before all these, that is, before the foundation of the world, God prepared
redemption. This redemption is based neither on works nor position nor
wealth, whether it is gold or silver. It is rather based on the shed blood of
Jesus on the cross; as the blood of an innocent is shed. This blood is a blood
without blemish or flaw. It is the blood of Christ. The Apostle Paul says in
Ephesians 1:7, “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” The Apostle John said in 1John 1: 7, “But if we walk in
the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and
the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.” Even before
the existence of the atom, God found forgiveness through the shed blood of
Christ on the cross. Believe in Christ before the atoms of this universe
disintegrates into fervent heat. Believe in Jesus because, as a matter of
fact, this entire universe will disintegrate into energy that will be “the
lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:” Revelation 21:8 says the people,
who failed to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, will suffer. Jesus says
before this universe dissolves, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are
heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11: 28 Would you come to Jesus before it is too late and believe
in Him to grant you eternal life? John 11:25 says, “Jesus said unto her, I
am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were
dead, yet shall he live. “ Today atomic and nuclear bombs are being made in larger quantities
and are being stored to be used in immense numbers. You never know when the
button will go off and the spark will be lit. Once this takes place woe will
come upon the inhabitants of the world. Would you like to believe in Jesus
today? Today is the day of salvation. Tomorrow will be the day of remorse.
Would you then take advantage of the time you have? The door is still wide
open! Believe, to have eternal life. Nobody, including your father or mother
or brother can stand before God to give an account on your sins. You alone
will stand before God to give an account for each and every sin you have ever
committed. Please believe in Jesus today and not tomorrow. If you want to study the Bible through free correspondence

Believe it or not
|
|
|
The problem of today’s world is: “Who do I believe?”
Should I believe God or man; or should I believe man and doubt God. As for
me, I am of those who decided to believe God rather than man. Despite the
inconsistency in opinions, I accepted God’s Word totally, and renounced
people’s thoughts utterly. Therefore, our topic for this study is, “Who is
the creator of this universe?” The Bible explicitly records the story of Creation, that
is, the story of how God created the heavens and earth. The Bible says in
Genesis 1: 1, “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
As for the philosophers, they do not know how the universe came into
existence. Even the scientists have no decisive opinion in the matter. This
lack of knowledge can be ascribed to their failure to prove unequivocally how
the universe came into being. However, they have many unproven theories in
regard to Creation. For example, some scientists claim that the origin of the
universe goes back to some kind of steam that began to expand and multiply.
However, they do not know from where this steam came from or how it
multiplied. The latest theory claims that the world was created from an
explosion that took place millions of years ago. This theory is known as the
“Bang theory”. As we know, all explosions in the world cause destruction and
create nothing good. Therefore, these scientists dream up theories they fail
to prove. The world, as a matter of fact, wants to believe what the
philosophers word rather than God, the Creator of these thinkers. Those who
believe in God are accused of atavism. Not only so, but God also is part of
this accusation. You might wonder why people in our present generation
refuse to believe God, and at the same time are ready to believe what man has
to say even if it may contradict God’s Word and cannot be proved. The answer
is found in Psalms 14:1, “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no
God.” Once I told my friend, “My watch was created when two pieces of
brass and glass came out of a volcano’s nozzle. And during the congealing
process it became a watch like this one that observes time.” My friend
responded, “This can’t be. It must be a myth nothing more.” I told him,
“Truly it is a myth similar to the story that claims that the world was created
by chance or by some sort of a steam that expanded and multiplied, or that
the universe was created by itself with no creator, or that the universe was
created by some sort of a bang. If you do not believe that there is a watch
without a maker how do you expect me to believe that a highly coordinated
universe with all that it contains - people, animals, trees - was created by
mere chance. The truth, dear friends, is that God created the heavens and the
earth as He said He did. There is not doubt about it. A dispute broke between scientists Isaac Newton and Hale
about who created the world. Hale claimed that he did not believe that a
creator made the world or the sun or the moon or the stars. All came into
being by mere chance. In order for Newton to prove the foolishness of this
belief in a convincing way, he made two beautiful balls representing the
earth and another planet. Upon completion, he placed them on a table in the
midst of his reading hall. Then he called Dr. Hale to come for a visit. Upon
coming and entering that hall, he noticed these two balls. As a result, he
approached him and asked, “What are these? Who made them?” Newton answered
and said, “No one made them.” In response Dr. Hale cried aloud and said, “How
in the world did these two balls ended up here?” Newton answered, “This
happened by mere chance.” Dr. Newton said, “This is impossible! Someone must
have made them because it is not possible for these balls to be here by
themselves.” Newton began addressing Hale’s foolishness and ignorance in
rejecting belief that these balls were created without a maker or that they
came by themselves, when he believed the world had come to exist by itself.
How then is it possible to believe that our world and the galaxy were created
by mere chance and at the same time not believe that a small thing like a
picture or a watch came into existence without a maker? Unfortunately, we
still hear today about those who believe that this universe was created by
chance. Some believe that the world has been since everlasting.
This is not possible because if the sun, for example, has been since
everlasting then it should be an infinite substance to have been burning all
this time. The sun contains millions of pounds of that substance that
converts into energy every day. If it is multiplied with an infinite number
then the sun will be infinite in its size. Moreover, for many reasons man
does not want to believe that God exists. I will discuss just one of them: The Bible says in Isaiah 59:2, “But your iniquities have
separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you
that he will not hear.” Most people are not willing to trust God or
believe in Him because of their unwillingness to repent from their iniquities
and be reconciled with God. You might ask, “How can I be reconciled with
God?” The Bible says in 2Corinthians 5:18-19, “And all things are of God,
who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the
ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the
world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath
committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” Also He forgave their sins
because of Christ’s shed blood, “For he hath made him to be sin for us,
who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.” He
who knew no sin and who never committed one sin is Jesus Christ. He was made
sin for us so that we might take His righteousness, and on the basis of His
cleanliness we might gain access into Heaven. No one can get into Heaven on
the basis of his own cleanliness and righteousness. Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood to cleanse us
from all sin, so he who believes in Him should not perish but have
everlasting life. The one that will not perish is he who believes in Him
(Jesus). Beloved, do you believe in Jesus who said that he who believes in
Him, even if he dies, will live? Sin stands as a separating wall between you
and God. I will now prove that every one believes in the fact of
God’s existence, despite their denial of it. Once I met a friend and
encouraged him to surrender his life to Jesus. He refused. He said that he
believed neither in God, Hell or Heaven. In response, I told him that whether
or not he believed would not change the fact that there is one and only one
God and Savior, Jesus Christ. Also, his belief will not change the reality
that there is a lake burning with fire and sulfur for all those who fail to
believe that Jesus is the Savior, and a new heaven, a new earth and eternal
life to those who believe in Him! Later this friend became sick with bone cancer. He was
crying out of pain. A lady from the church went to visit him. During her
visit she spoke with him about Jesus. In response he said, “I told the pastor
that there was neither God nor Jesus the Savior, not even a heaven or hell.
But in fact deep within my heart I believed the opposite. I knew that there
was a God and that Jesus is the only Savior and there was both Heaven and
Hell. I denied these facts because I knew very well that if I confessed them
then I should repent of my sins. But since I loved living in sin, I had to
deny God’s existence.” She told him, “Please accept Jesus in your heart to
forgive your sins. He responded by saying, “Can I do that now while dying?”
She then told him, “Jesus said in John 6: 37, ‘and him that cometh to me I
will in no wise cast out…’ ” Then she encouraged him to receive Jesus in
his heart in order to have his sins forgiven. Jesus came to save those who
were perishing. This man believed in Jesus as his only Savior. As a result
his pain waned. Then many days later he died and was joined with the saints
in Heaven. Dear friend believe now! Jesus tells you in the book of Revelations
3: 20, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,
and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with
me.” There was another story about a little girl who was dying,
whose father was an infidel, not believing in God. But at that terrible hour
he was sitting sadly next to his dear daughter. Suddenly his daughter spoke
up and said, “I see Jesus. Dad can you see Him?” He answered, “No my
daughter.” Then she said, “Dad! Can’t you see those nailed hands? They are
approaching and welcoming me…. The nailed hands, Dad…!” Then she gave up her
spirit in peace. In front of this touching scene, her father’s heart melted.
When he buried her, he buried also his unbelief for ever. KRO |

Do you know His Name? |
|
The following question, “Do you know His name?”
was asked by the most sluggish person. Do you think that we, the prudent, can
be wiser than this man who declared, “Surely I am more brutish than any
man, and have not the understanding of a man.” This question was proposed
by Agur the son of Jakeh about 3000 year ago, who also said in Proverbs 30:4,
“Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the
wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath
established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his
son's name, if thou canst tell?” Jesus said to Nicodemus, a ruler of the
Jews, “If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye
believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? And no man hath ascended up to
heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in
heaven.”(John 3: 12-13) And if we should ask Christ the same
question He would say to us, “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but
he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”
John 3: 13. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only one who descended from
heaven and He knows what we do not know. I might descend up to heaven in an
imaginative journey in my night dreams. But the Lord Jesus, He ascended up to
heaven after forty days following His resurrection, and forty three days
following the cross. Who then ascended up to the heavens and descended? What
is His name and what is His Son’s name? The other queries that come into one’s mind are as
follows: “Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the
waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth?” These
questions were answered by the Lord Jesus Christ by means of a miracle He
performed that no one else could do. “And, behold, there arose a great
tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he
was asleep… But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that
even the winds and the sea obey him!” (Matthew 8:24, 27). Who else can
order the winds and the waves of the sea, and they obey Him? These miracles
cannot be performed by any mortal. Who is He who did these things? What is
His name? What is His Son’s name? Who has established the ends of the earth?
These questions were answered in Hebrews 10: 1, “And, Thou, Lord, in the
beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the
works of thine hands.” The Bible also says in Genesis 1: 1, “In the
beginning God created the heaven and the earth”. Who has, then, this
authority to establish the ends of the earth? This query was answered by
Jesus in Matthew 28:18, “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.” Again, who has
established the ends of the earth? What is His name? Do you know what His
Son’s name is? You might ask, “Is God the one who is meant here?” You are
right. But what is His name? What is His name’s Son? John the Baptist
witnessed about the Son of God. He said in John 1:34, “And I saw, and bare
record that this is the Son of God.” The Apostle John the beloved also
said in 1 John 5:20, “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath
given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in
him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and
eternal life.” Jesus witnessed about Himself in John 10:30, “I and my
Father are one.” Philip the Apostle said to the Lord Jesus, “Show us
the Father.” “Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you,
and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the
Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that
I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I
speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.”
(John 14:9-10) What is His name and what is His Son’s name? His name is
God the incarnate. The Lord Jesus Christ is His Son’s name. The Bible says in
Matthew 28:19, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in
the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” Take note
that the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have one name that is “in the Name”.
This name is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Acts 4:10, 12, “Be
it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead,
even by him doth this man stand here before you whole…..Neither is there
salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among
men, whereby we must be saved.” Therefore, every one who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ
will not perish but have everlasting life. The Bible says in 1 John 5: 20, “And
we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that
we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son
Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.” Then if man believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, who
declared that He will not throw out anyone who comes unto Him, he will
undoubtedly receive eternal life. For the Lord Jesus is the one who possesses
all authority to send you either to Heaven or to Hell. If you believe in Him,
you will surely be saved and not perish. Pray, if you please, the following prayer by faith in the
Name of the Lord Jesus Christ and you will receive salvation and eternal
life: “O Lord Jesus Christ you are God, the incarnate. You
descended from Heaven. Please forgive my sins with your blood that was shed
on the cross. Come dwell in my heart and grant me eternal life. I pray this
in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.” If you have prayed this prayer and understand that Christ
has heard your request, please write to us so that we may pray for you. Name:

Hosanna |
|
|
The word “hosanna”
is a Greek word. In its Hebrew origin it is rendered as (Hoshe’ino) meaning
“O Lord! Save us!” The Jews shouted “hosanna” – “O Lord! Save us!” This was
on April 10, 30A.D.- about 33 years after the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
As they shouted hosanna they were literary pleading for the Messiah to come
to deliver them from the Romans. At that time most of the Jews were convinced
that Jesus Christ was the “Messiah to come”. Their shout “hosanna,” was a
request of succor to Jesus Christ as being the Messiah, the King of the Jews,
to deliver them from the authority of the Romans, the idol worshippers, as
Moses had liberated them from under the rule of the Egyptians. So, at that time, when the Jews shouted hosanna, “O Lord
save us!”, their intention was neither a call of deliverance from Satan, the
great slave master (who is still leading people to commit diverse sins), nor
a request of deliverance from the punishment of their iniquities. Today, many shout hosanna “O Lord save us!” But the reason
for their shout seems only a request for deliverance from an occupying nation
or country to which they have been enslaved, but it has never been a shout for
liberation from Satan’s grip. Satan, on his part, is enslaving people’s
souls, leading them, with shackles of sin on their lives to the fires of
Hell. People seem to be satisfied and indifferent with this injustice being
administered against their souls by their enemy Satan, who deals with people
like that criminal who once offered a little girl a chocolate ice cream so
that he can lead her away from her village into the forest to attack her and
then kill her. In like manner, Satan offers you the seductive joys of life so
that he can lead you to Hell where he will attack you and make you suffer for
eternity. He, Satan the manslayer, loves to make people suffer in Hell where
the worms will never die nor the fire quenched. To whom then should we shout “hosanna”? You may notice
that many people sing “hosanna.” The question is how many of them know the
meaning of the songs or hymns they sing? Even if they do know the meaning of
the word “hosanna” (O Lord, save us!), do they still believe that Jesus is
the coming Messiah and Lord as it was announced by the Angel at Jesus’ birth
in Luke 2: 11, “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a
Saviour, which is Christ the Lord”? What good does it do to shout
“hosanna” if we refuse the Lord to save us or if we do not believe that Jesus
Christ is the Savior? Mere repetition of these words has no benefit at all.
It will only be effective if we ask it in faith. Jesus said in Mathew 21: 22,
“And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall
receive.” Therefore, when we ask the Lord Jesus to save us from sin,
He will hear us and forgive our iniquities. He will do so based on our faith
that He is God who appeared in the flesh. In other words, He is ready to
forgive our sins once we profess that He is God who came in the flesh, and
who died on the cross as the Lamb of God to provide redemption for all
Mankind. With respect to animal sacrifices, they can by no means
atone for the sins of mankind before God. He only accepts a lamb with eternal
blood. He cannot consent to the blood of animals. In other words, this is
what heaven requires; divine atonement and not animal sacrifices. The Bible
says in Hebrews, 9: 11-14, “But Christ being come an high priest of good
things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with
hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats
and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place,
having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls and of
goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the
purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through
the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience
from dead works to serve the living God?” Therefore, the Lord Jesus Christ is the only One who made
our redemption. He made this possible by offering his life as a sacrifice for
our iniquities. The Bible says in Hebrews 9: 28, “to put away sin by the
sacrifice of himself.” Hebrews 9: 26. “So Christ was once offered to
bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the
second time without sin unto salvation” So all those who believe in the
Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross by means of offering His body as a
sacrifice for the remission for their sins and for their sanctification will
enjoy this salvation. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:10, “By the which will
we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for
all.” Wherefore, all the animal sacrifices that were offered in
the past until now, as well as those of the future, will by no means forgive
one single sin before God. The Bible says in Hebrews 10:11-14, “And every
priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same
sacrifices, which can never take away sins: But this man, after he had
offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. For by one
offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.” If we
shout unto the Lord Jesus Christ “hosanna” (“Hoshe’ino”, “O Lord! Save us!”),
and believe that He is the Lord who came to this world for our redemption and
that He was the only offering that was slaughtered for our sake on the cross,
so that he who believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life, we
will surely be saved. The Bible says in John 3:16, “For God so loved the
world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have everlasting life.” My dear reader have you already shouted “hosanna” “O Lord!
Save us!? Have you prayed to the Lord Jesus Christ, whose presence fills the
whole world and who can hear your prayer? If you pray believing that the
Bible is God’s Holy Word, you will by faith get saved and receive the
forgiveness of your sins. You must pray in faith to the Lord Jesus to receive
eternal life and be delivered from Satan’s grip, who leads you every day
towards sin and rebellion against God. Behold Jesus is calling you personally, “Come unto me,
all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew
11:28. Do not go to someone else as there is no other by whom you can be
saved. The Bible says in Acts 4: 12, “for there is none other name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” If you want to
be saved today, please pray this prayer in faith: “O Lord Jesus Christ! You died on the cross for my
sake I ask that you forgive all my sins by the blood that you shed on the
cross. Please come now and dwell in my heart and grant me eternal life. I ask
this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to whom all glory belongs. Amen.” If you have prayed this prayer and believed that the Lord
Jesus Christ has heard you and saved you, please send us your name and
address that we may pray for you: Name:

Ask, You will
Receive

When a son asks his father for bread will he not give it
to him? Or when he asks for clothing will the father not give it to him? On
the other hand, when a stranger comes to you for bread will you not give him
the leftovers? Or if he asks for clothes will you not give him at least some
old ones? The question is, “what would you give your son?” Would you give him
new or old things? As you can see, we differentiate between our son and a
stranger. As a matter of fact, we fail to offer the stranger what we would
for our son. Therefore, often when someone asks something from God, God
does not answer him. Why? If all humanity were children of God why then does
He not hear their prayers or answer their requests? The truth is, not all are
God’s children. For the Bible clearly says in John 1:12, “But as many as
received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God….” According
to this verse, by receiving Someone we can become children of God. Who, then,
is that Someone? The Gospel of John begins with this verse, “In the
beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God….All
things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was
made.” Here we notice that the “Word” was God, the Creator of all things.
Also in verse 14 (same chapter), “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the
Father,) full of grace and truth.” This shows that God who created the
heavens and earth and everything therein appeared in the flesh. The Apostle
Paul spoke about Jesus in his Epistle to the Philippians 2:7-8, “But made
himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was
made in the likeness of men And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled
himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross” John
the Baptist also spoke about Jesus in John 1:29, 34, “Behold the Lamb of
God, which taketh away the sin of the world….And I saw, and bare record that
this is the Son of God” Therefore, you should believe in Jesus Christ as God who
came in the flesh and died on the cross for the remission of your sins. Then
upon receiving Him in your heart, and only then, you will become one of God’s
children. The Apostle Paul said in his Epistle to the Romans 10:9-10, “That
if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved For
with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation.” Accordingly, you should never imagine
that God will answer your requests or prayers unless you become a child of
His. Last, but not least, you should make your request before
God in the name of Jesus Christ in order for your prayers to be answered. The
Bible says in John 16:23, “And in that day ye shall ask me nothing.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my
name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask,
and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” Does this mean that
every request I make to God in prayer, after committing my life to Christ,
will be answered? The answer to this question is found in the following
question: “If your son asks for venom will you give it to him? All requests God’s people make before Him will be granted
providing that they do not lead to spiritual intoxication. Now, if you will,
pray this prayer: O Lord! I am a sinner. Forgive my sins with your
blood that was shed on the cross. Please come into my heart and grant me
eternal life so that I may become one of your children. If you pray this prayer in faith you will become one of
God’s children. Please write to us. Our address is as follows: Jerusalem Bible Institute P. O. Box 19349 Jerusalem |
